The Tuízelo route is a ride of character, bringing together devotion, history and nature in a remarkably even layout.

Camino de Santiago. Just out of Vinhais it follows the Camino de Santiago to Sobreiró de Baixo — a stretch that joins the sporting side to the spiritual dimension of the pilgrimage, on trails of great quality.

Villages and woods. At Sobreiró de Cima the route enters the heart of the Montesinho Natural Park, in a striking succession of paths and the ever-special crossing of villages — many without the bustle of former times, but with well-preserved traditional houses, beside streams and oak and chestnut woods.

Tuízelo. A place full of personality, with traces of human occupation predating the 12th century — remains of old settlements and hillforts — and an important place of devotion. It is a good moment to stop at the village café or restaurant before the final stretch. From there, along broad panoramic tracks beneath the slopes of the Serra da Coroa, the route returns to the Parque Biológico.
