The Senhora da Saúde route crosses the southwest of the municipality, inside and outside the Natural Park, in a register where devotion and landscape go hand in hand. Natural viewpoints. The first landmark is Moás, a very old village of typical character, with the Baloiço da Eira — one of the most remarkable swings in Vinhais for the breadth of its view, reaching the Nogueira, Bornes and Montemuro ranges. The sanctuaries route. From the banks of the Tuela the route climbs to the Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora da Saúde, set atop a crag near Vale de Janeiro. Legend says it is one of the "seven sisters" — Marian sanctuaries that see and speak to one another daily. Further on, in Vale de Janeiro, the parish church dominates the village. Into the park. By Curopos, Espinhoso, Aboá and Sobreiró de Baixo the route enters the Montesinho Natural Park, as far as the Sanctuary of Santa Luzia — less imposing, but with a privileged view over Vinhais. Lagarelhos, Rio de Fornos and the town complete the route.
