Between Dine and Fresulfe, this woodland trail follows the River Tuela through little-visited countryside. The Lorga de Dine cave, the lime kilns, the ancient thermal baths and the river beach at Fresulfe are the highlights of a route of great natural beauty and historical significance.

A little-known but rewarding corner. From Dine, by the wayside cross and the church, a complex of great archaeological value is revealed: the Cave Interpretation Centre, the Lorga de Dine cave and the lime kilns scattered over the hill. On a narrow, pretty trail beside the stream, among oaks and chestnut trees, the route opens to the Rio Tuela and reaches the hot springs that give it its name — a very calm leisure area. Shortly after comes the Fresulfe river beach. Up to about km 3 it follows the river, then heads to Fresulfe, a rural village where it is common to cross paths with cattle and where there is a fountain. The return to Dine runs along the hillside, with Santa Cruz in view on the opposite bank, entering by the cemetery road. In autumn, fallen leaves carpet the path — perhaps the best season for this discovery.Quick answers
